I know nothing about LA but this was really funny.
My thoughts exactly. Leave it to Issa Rae.
Okay, I laughing all the way through at this metrosexual man, but I lost it when he said "bye mama". Come on dude.
You know, that part is sadly a bit too true for far too many black men though...that part had nothing to do with LA and everything to do with black males who are never taught or expected to be men.
Well, it's cool that these men take care of themselves, but not overdoing it. The dude in the video goes a bit too far with the nails, the rest is OK but he could have done it earlier. The only things that made me laugh are when he sprayed perfume in his panties and when he said "bye mama", even if I'm not turned off by it, many men and women of all colors still live with their parents in their 20s. It IS annoying to wait for your man to get prepared but some girls are definitely like this. Maybe what's even more annoying is that the dude didn't go pick up (with a car) his girlfriend who had to come all the way to his house? Hm, I can see that it might not be gentleman/manly. Might watch the series when it starts.
Yes, but I feel as though he is the man-boy type of person who lives with mamma, and will stay there until he moves in with some silly woman or his baby mamma, not the young person trying to make it, and nope I doubt he has any wheels, and I'm sure she'll be paying for both of their meals. And the phenomenon unfortunately existed before the latest recession forced a lot of hard-working 20-somethings back home...
Well, I have no idea why she targets LA dudes but if you're saying that the show is about mamma-boys then it makes sense...will see what the series tell us later.
Yeah, I want to see where she goes with this.
Thanks for sharing this. Has no idea it was posted online. I didn't laugh out loud, but I thought it was interesting. I thought the dude was gonna come in drag for a sec there..
