  1. My questions for the beginning of the season:

    1. Who tipped the press off to Olivia and the Prez's affair? How is OPA going to "fix" Liv's problem?
    2. Did Rowan really try to have Olivia killed?
    3. How is Jake going to fit into this whole thing now that his character has been made into a series regular?
    4. Has Fitz gotten his shit together yet?

Rowan seems like he really didn't want her with Fitz, so I'm wondering if he knows something that we don't. Did Fitz used to work for B-613? That seems very plausible since he and Jake used to work together and Jake is a B-613 agent. I also don't think Rowan really tried to have Olivia killed even though that's the way it looks right now.

And I sincerely hope that Fitz has gotten his life over the break, because he was getting on my last nerve. Personally, I'm glad Olivia kicked his ass to the curb for the time being. She needs to be alone for a little while. I know in the crazy-ass Scandal fandom, they're all mad at Liv for ending things with him (they seem to be of the mind that she should prostrate herself at his feet and be there for him whenever he wants, however he wants), but I'm glad she's the one that finally took some control of that situation. It was needed. She needed to get some control back. She lost a lot of control in the last half of the season.

It's also my personal view, that since Shonda had only prepared for 13 episodes (the original amount the network aired) and then was kind of blindsided when ABC ordered a full season, the writing suffered a little bit. There were plot holes, uneven writing, and some things felt a bit rushed which were to be expected under the circumstances. I'm pretty certain things will be back to S1/first half of S2 level writing this season. *fingers crossed*

I think he knows exactly what we know; Fitz is Fitz, and he ain't no catch.

Someone on YouTube stated it was most likely the First Lady trying to have Liv, and the way they explained it made sense.

I hadn't thought about this, but it does make a lot sense (and don't forget; the guy who plays Stephen up and left). I'm looking forward to Season 3 now, because I think they've got a good handle on the characters and direction they want.

Columbus Short was BFFs with Lee Thompson Young; I wonder if they'll the bruh a shout-out on the show.
